The turquoise house by the reservoir
Located in a privileged enclave next to the San Juan Reservoir, this interior design project is based on an essential premise: connecting the home with its natural environment in a harmonious, sincere and contemporary way.
The backbone of the proposal revolves around the turquoise blue color, present in carefully selected details that act as a common thread between the different rooms. This tone, inspired by the waters of the reservoir, not only provides visual freshness, but also reinforces the continuity between the interior and the exterior landscape.
The nature is introduced as the protagonist not only through the views, but through a selection of materials and finishes that evoke the organic: light woods, vegetable fibers, textured linens and a neutral color range that amplifies natural light and frames the tones of the environment.
A distinctive element of this project is the use of wallpapers with botanical motifs and handmade textures, which provide depth, character and a symbolic connection with the surrounding vegetation. These pieces, strategically distributed in focal points of the home, dialogue with the furniture, architecture and lighting, generating immersive and elegant atmospheres.
Each space has been designed with a functional and poetic approach at the same time: the common areas open to the outside through large windows that capture the landscape, while the bedrooms and rest areas integrate decorative elements that invite calm and introspection.
This project is a statement of how interior design can transcend aesthetics to become a living experience connected to the environment, the senses and the identity of the place.
