FROM SPACE TO THE PIECE

A piece of furniture begins
long before the drawing.

Start with a way of life, a specific need or the identity of a brand. In Alberto Torres' studio we transform that starting point into furniture with a clear function and its own presence.

We design unique pieces for individuals, develop proposals for furniture brands and create solutions for commercial spaces. The scale changes; Our attention to proportion, use and detail remains.

We think about each piece in relation to its environment: how it is used, what it contributes to the space and how it coexists with the rest. We work on the design in dialogue with the manufacturers and professionals who bring it to reality.

We develop furniture pieces and proposals together with companies in the sector. We combine our vision as interior designers with the knowledge of the manufacturer to give coherence to the shapes, materials and possibilities of each design.

Our career includes work for Casantini Milano, Ilarcuris, Javier Bellón and Castelo Móveis, among other firms.

03 / RETAIL AND CONTRACT

A business too
is counted with its furniture.

We design furniture for stores, restaurants and professional spaces. We study how a table is received, displayed, worked on or shared to create pieces that accompany the activity and express the personality of each business.

Pugil, Technal and Bendita Locura are part of this look applied to spaces with different uses and identities.
