Penthouse Barrio de Salamanca, Madrid

An attic to live without barriers

The proposal for this penthouse in the Salamanca neighborhood proposes an open day area in which the kitchen, dining room and living room maintain a continuous visual relationship. The light tones of the envelope coexist with wooden surfaces and dark elements, building a contemporary interior with classic references in the moldings and decorative panels.

The kitchen combines a wood-finish storage front with a dark island that focuses attention. High seating incorporates a meeting place next to the preparation area. The change of pavement delimits this area without introducing a vertical separation, while the white column is part of the reading of the space. In the living room, the light sofas and the soft textured carpet balance the prominence of the television wall, resolved by warm panels and open spaces of different proportions.

The bedroom extends the dialogue between geometry and texture. A wooden panel arranged in diagonals marks the headboard, framed by white surfaces with moldings; The upholstered bed and suspended lighting provide a more intimate scale. The bathroom proposals use gray coatings, suspended furniture with a wood finish, white sinks and illuminated mirrors. The set seeks visual continuity through a shared palette, with variations of contrast and light in each room.
