TRANSFORMATION OF AN APARTMENT FROM THE 70S INTO A SPACE FULL OF LIFE WITH NATURAL AESTHETICS AS A VACATION RENTAL MODEL

AN APARTMENT IN "LA PLAYA" IN MADRID

36 m2 of ingenuity and space

In San Martín de Valdeiglesias, 70 km from Madrid, our studio has reinvented a 36 m² studio from the 70s into a bright, coastal space. A color palette of earth and sand tones creates a relaxing atmosphere.

The apartment is divided into a day area with a living-dining room, kitchen and terrace, and a night area with a bedroom and bathroom, each space optimized.

A wallpaper evokes a field of ears of wheat in soft tones in the living room, standing out in the space. A sofa bed is chosen for guests.

DAY AREA: The entrance leads to the living-dining room and semi-open kitchen. The porcelain floor creates a dialogue between the areas.

Canagge details of chairs and lamps, oak wood and porcelain floor reinforcing the sought-after serenity.

KITCHEN: From the living room you can access the kitchen through an open partition, uniting the living room, dining room and kitchen in the same space. A partition is eliminated to give a feeling of spaciousness.

Wall tiling is changed to porcelain in natural stone. Custom furniture to the ceiling for maximum storage.

TERRACE: A lattice screen with an upholstered bench and a vertical garden has been designed. The furniture divides the terrace into two areas: one featuring a dining table, and the other with a bench for taking in views of the reservoir.

Green and reservoir views. Outdoor lighting combines jute lamp and solar LED lights.

NIGHT AREA

BEDROOM WITH BATHROOM: The bedroom and bathroom maintain harmony with earth and sand tones. Linen wallpaper and oak furniture provide elegance and visual spaciousness.

Lighting with a ceiling design with 2 lampshades that fall on bedside tables.

BATHROOM: Priority on functionality and comfort. Wood effect porcelain tile. Large shower tray. Black faucets to contrast with wood and coatings. Microcement sink on oak furniture. Circular mirror with backlight.
