Apartment Getafe, Madrid

Blues that give life to a home

This apartment in Getafe brings together different decorative references on a clear and serene base. The white walls, the flooring in soft wood tones and the light curtains provide continuity between the environments. Against this discreet envelope, the furniture and textiles introduce color, design and personality, without losing the overall feeling.

The living room is organized around a dark sofa with a chaise longue, accompanied by a circular wooden table and small upholstered auxiliary seats. The blue and turquoise cushions match the dining room chairs, whose geometric print enlivens the meeting area. A lamp with overlapping shades centers the table, while a blue oriental-inspired cabinet, with large circular hardware, provides a unique accent. Black and white photography and niches complete the composition.

In the more intimate areas, the language becomes light and domestic: a desk by the window, a bedroom with soft textiles and floral motifs, and a kitchen with white fronts and simple lines. The bathroom continues that clarity with a suspended wood-finished cabinet, circular mirror and transparent screen. The identity of the home is born from that combination of contained solutions and expressive pieces, with color as a common thread.
